Does your child show signs of giftedness? To find out, see the Bright Child/Gifted Learner list of characteristics (in MS Word | In Adobe PDF). If your child does display the characteristics of a gifted learner, please complete the GATE Permission to Evaluate form (available below) and return it to your school by November 19th. Testing will be held in January 2009. For more information, see the GATE web site.

Tucson Unified Schools seeks community involvement in developing a 10-year plan for school buildings and sites. We're currently forming a task force and project teams to work on this plan. If you'd like to be involved, or would just like to receive more information about this, please complete the Request for Information and/or Participation form. Applications are accepted through Dec. 1.

The Department of School Safety is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. To make an anonymous report regarding any on-campus concerns, including weapons, fights, graffiti, drugs, violence, or gangs, call the Safe-T-Zone Tip Line at 584-7680.
